7-Step Cutter Maintenance Procedure:

  1. Disassemble and inspect the cutter for wear or damage that could affect the life or performance of the cutter.
  2. Provide an estimate if any parts require replacement prior to performing any work.
  3. Check bearings for wear and assure proper bearing pre-load.
  4. Surface-grind rotor and bed knives.
  1. Spin-grind the rotating assembly of our competitors’ cutters to achieve original cutter tolerances
  2. Re-set knife clearance to original factory specifications for your cutter and blade material.
  3. Final inspection including test cutting material to assure proper set up and function in your process.
